Inspired by our RA model, the INTI is a climbing shoe used by elite climbers on some of the most difficult and demanding routes in the world. Like other models in our ‘Balance Pro’ line, the INTI is designed to achieve outstanding performance and unrivalled versatility.
Slightly softer than its predecessor, the INTI is nevertheless excellent on small edges, while its frictional properties are even further enhanced, making this the perfect shoe for vertical and slightly overhanging routes and boulder problems. When making the first ever 9a on-sight ascent, Alex had to climb completely naturally but with millimetre precision. In order to achieve this Alex opted to wear the INTI. It met his every requirement, providing maximum contact with the rock and superb, dynamic feedback on his foot placements, move after move after move.

More control and precision
The INTI’s asymmetric profile allows the toes to get right to the end of the shoe, giving fantastic precision and maximum transmission of power through to the rock. This is further enhanced by the V-shaped Velcro closure system and bellow tongue, which permits rapid fitting and removal. 4mm of rubber and a five-micro-layer insole are the only things between your feet and the rock, providing superb ‘feel’ when fractioning up blank slabs, while the U-shaped midsole gives just the right amount of stiffness when the rock gets a little steeper.

More sensitive
The precision adjustability provided by the SXR Dynamics system gives greater freedom of movement, augmenting the INTI’s capacity to adapt to many different intricacies and formations in the rock. The horseshoe-shaped mid-sole is stiff around the edges but softer in the middle, providing ample support on smaller holds but not so much that its smearing properties are adversely affected.
